Omorodion, Former Nigeria Star, Passes at FC Porto
Omorodion, formerly known as Nigerian star, has passed away. He was a talented footballer who played for several clubs including Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Omorodion was born on May 16, 1984 in Nigeria. He started his career with the youth teams of Manchester United and he made his senior debut against Nottingham Forest in 2007. From there, he went on to play for several clubs across Europe.
In 2013, Omorodion signed for Real Madrid and quickly established himself as one of the best strikers in the world. He scored over 50 goals for Real Madrid during his time at the club and won numerous awards including the Ballon d'Or award in 2016.
However, Omorodion's career took a turn for the worse when he was diagnosed with a rare cancer called glioblastoma multiforme. The disease caused him to lose most of his vision and he had to undergo multiple surgeries to treat it. Despite this, Omorodion remained committed to playing football and continued to be a key player for Real Madrid.
Unfortunately, Omorodion passed away on February 28, 2018. His passing left a huge void in the footballing world. He will always be remembered as one of the greatest footballers that Nigeria has ever produced. His legacy will live on through his work ethic and dedication to the sport.
